After shopping around a few Land Rover stores, this one was the most professional and helpful in getting me into my new lease. Ali was my salesman, he was very helpful in helping me figure out the vehicle that would be right for me. We test drove several different cars, and I decided on the diesel Range Rover. Ali was so pleasant to work with and never misleading. They also gave me what I needed to get out of my trade in, which I really appreciate. Everyone here at the dealership was friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even sent a concierge to my house to teach me all the ins and outs of the vehicle. I recently purchased a pre-owned Jaguar XF from this dealership. My sales contacts were Shariq Maurier and Yamin Faraj. I primarily spoke with Shariq, but they work as a team managing internet sales. I found car online and submitted an appt request, received call back same day. I drove to dealership to test drive a couple days later, I didn't wait very long at all for someone to help me. Shariq was helpful, he answered my questions, pretty straight-forward. After test drive, I shared that I planned on doing a trade-in and they took a look at my vehicle on sight. Light haggling via email occurred over the following couple days, increasing my trade-in value and lowering purchase price. Again, light haggling fairly straight-forward, nothing unpleasant. This aspect of the purchase was relatively smooth. It should be noted, I'm an internet buyer. I do all of my research at home and never walk into a dealership without knowing which vehicle I want to test drive and I only test that one. That being stated, I'm not the type of customer you'd typically hard sell because I already know what I want and won't consider a cross-sell without researching it first. I also tend to make appointments to help avoid waiting for sales people. I did get financing through the dealership, usually something I try to avoid like the plague but recent changes in auto loan sector made that a bit more challenging....For example, Chase will not let you apply for auto financing directly if buying a Jaguar, website stated I had to go through dealership; and Capital One has a new automated system that won't lend at all unless dealership is in their approved network of car dealers. I didn't check this beforehand, normally I do, but the financing through dealership came through just fine. The part where you really have to pay attention is in the finance manager's office. You're signing a lot of paperwork, usually have to wait a while beforehand, and the F& I managers are the true salesmen of the dealership, even through they'll swear they're not. The guy I met with was fairly typical in that regard. He made general conversation asking about family, asked to see picture of my kid, yaddi yadda.....then he hits me with the extended warranty sale. I didn't bite, he then reduced it a few bucks ...no.....then he tried to portray consumer rights as "incentives" he was "allowing", such as allowing me to sign ext. warranty, consider over-night and bring back next day if I changed my mind....spoiler alert: I could do that without his permission. There were other little things, but towards the end he started getting more aggressive trying to scare or shame me into ext. warranty purchase ....For example, he mentioned, in a condescending manner, that no one had ever turned him down and he even went as far to say it was stupid for me not to sign ...and let's clear here, he wasn't quoting me the bargain of the century. I'm a 32yr old mid-level executive, I look young and inexperienced but that's not the reality and I'm not easily intimidated. I directly asked if he was trying to strong arm me, he seemed to calm down a bit after that...I think it'd be unfair to say he crossed the line, but he was getting there. I have pretty thick skin and don't take business matters personally, but someone else's patience threshold may be lower. I don't give them low marks for the finance manger because that's his job. The warranties and extras are huge sources of profit for dealerships and hard sells should be expected. Personally I'd stop short of insulting customers, but to each his own. Overall generally positive experience with this dealership. Mostly everyone I met was nice, helpful, and attentive.... F & I Manager was a bit of an odd-ass, but that's just part of his job, I didn't take it personal. Hope this helps.

I have been recently shopping for a luxury SUV for my wife's birthday, and one of the models I shortlisted was the Jaguar F-PACE S. I'm from the Bay Area, and one of the few dealerships that had the vehicle with all the options I wanted was the Newport Beach dealership. I reached out over their website and email a month and half before my estimated purchase date and I was promptly called back by Timothy Mumford. I wasn't in the market for the car the very week/month, but Tim worked with me regardless on the availability and offer, and gave me one of the very best offers I received for a car in this price range. Throughout the month leading up to my wife's birthday, he was always available over phone/email and was one of the most patient and pleasant dealers to work with. Even though I decided to go with Tesla Model X in the end, if I choose to buy a Jaguar in the near future, I'd fly down to LA and pick one up from Tim. For all of you who had a bad experience with this dealership from what I read on Yelp, reach out to Tim if you are still in the market.

I don't know what these other people are talking about, but upon my arrival at Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach I had two people approach my husband and I. The person we worked with was Simon Hafiz and I can't say enough about him! He was low key, patient, helpful, totally willing to work with us, and helped us get the financing we needed to get the car of my dreams!!!

The overall experience was good, there were some issues with the original sales rep, however the sales manager stepped in and took control of the situation, assigned a new sales rep, at that point things started to move a lot smoother.

A 5-Star Experience! Thank you Erik and Jeff for making our shopping experience easy and enjoyable. After calling every Land Rover Dealership on the West-Coast, Land Rover of Newport Beach was one of 5 dealerships that had the Range Rover I wanted. Every other dealership provided quotes that were very similar to one another, however, the Land Rover of Newport Beach, beat every other dealership by a landslide. I was able to lease my Range Rover with 0 down and 0 drive-offs, for a price way below any other dealership quoted me with money down. As a member of a family who loves the Jaguar/ Land Rover brand, we will definitely be referring all our friends and family to Land Rover of Newport Beach! Thank you for making the experience one that we will remember! Addressing some of the issues: - No.. they are not racist against Asians... . As an Asian American, we did not experience racism, in fact we received better customer service from this Dealership, than those with "Asian" salesmen....

Great experience with Land Rover Newport Beach. I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience and how Land Rover staff treats their guests. I was treated with respect, kindness and high level of professionalism. Eric and Jeff were on point throughout the entire process, they showed so much care and gave me all their undivided attention that I never doubted for a second that I was in the right place for an Range Rover. Great service, super nice people, awesome car, I really enjoy driving my XF. The V6 engine has lots of get up and go, the car looks great and I feel very comfortable and in control behind the wheel.
